Ms. Smith earned a B.S. in Human Services, summa cum laude, and J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo.  She went on to Boston University to receive a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM).

After practicing law in Massachusetts for more than 13 years, Ms. Smith opened the law office of Attorney Paula A. Smith, LLC in 2005 and continues to provide her clients with the high quality elder law and estate planning.

Prior to starting her own firm in 2005, Ms. Smith was a partner at the Worcester law firm of Lian, Zarrow, Eynon and Shea since 1992 where she practiced estate planning and elder law.
