US DHHS Releases Health Information Beneficial to Boomers

As the first of the Baby Boomers are turning 60, the US Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases have released a new Senior Health package of health publications from the Federal Citizen Information Center.

The package is filled with handy hints on maintaining good health and addressing age-related health issues. It also contains information about cholesterol levels, blood pressure, cancer screenings, heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis as well as useful charts for recording your checkups, medications, shots, test results, etc. Bringing the completed chart to your doctor visit will enable your health care professional to gather a quick overview of your health history.

Senior Health packages can be ordered online at www.pueblo.gsa.gov or by calling 1-888-878-3256.
